The German Jordanian University (GJU) and the Jordan Enterprise Development Corporation (JEDCO) have forged a mutually beneficial partnership through a renewable three-year memorandum of understanding (MoU) aimed at nurturing a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation among university students. The MoU focuses on facilitating the transition of viable ideas into sustainable projects, fostering creativity, and promoting economic development across all regions of the Kingdom.

Under the MoU, the university will host introductory workshops on JEDCO's programs, guide students in applying for relevant initiatives, and facilitate access to funding opportunities. In return, JEDCO will share its research findings and publications with the university community, offering valuable insights into entrepreneurial practices.

Furthermore, the MoU facilitates practical training opportunities for students enrolled in the Dual Studies program at JEDCO's facilities and affiliated organizations. This hands-on experience enables students to integrate theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, preparing them for successful careers in their chosen fields.

The memorandum was formally signed by GJU President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, and JEDCO's Executive Director, Abdel Fattah Al-Kayed, solidifying their commitment to fostering a dynamic ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation in Jordan.
