The department of Narcotics organized a workshop entitled "the Role of Student Affairs Deans and Educational Counselors in Drug Awareness." As part of its awareness efforts aimed at combating the scourge of drugs, the Anti-Drug Administration organized a workshop today under the slogan "The role of student affairs deans and educational counselors in government and private schools in raising awareness of the dangers of drugs." This workshop is organized within the framework of the partnership between the General Security Directorate and civil society institutions, especially educational institutions, to spread awareness among the youth about the risks of drugs and their psychological, health, and social effects on individuals and society. The workshop, attended by the Assistant Director of General Security for Operations and Training, included dialogue sessions and discussion papers presented by experts. Its goal was to enhance the efforts of student affairs deans and educational supervisors in fortifying students and raising awareness about the dangers of drugs, and their impact on the safety of individuals and the security of society. The workshop was attended by several deans of student affairs at Jordanian universities, representatives from educational counseling in the Ministry of Education, government and private schools, and military culture schools.
