Dr. Omar Hiari
Dr. Omar Hiari is an associate professor of Computer Engineering at the German Jordanian University in Amman, Jordan. Prior to joining the German Jordanian University he was a functional safety platform architect in the IoT group at Intel Corporation. He also previously occupied multiple positions at Continental Automotive Systems and Magna Electronics in the development of embedded electronics for a variety of automotive systems. He received his BSc in electronics engineering from Princess Sumaya University for Technology in Amman, Jordan. He also received his PhD and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan.
