The Deanship of Student Affairs is organizing a cultural and scientific contest between its 8 schools on 04/04/2024 in Jabal Amman.

In alignment with the national campaign "Our Flag is High," coinciding with the Kingdom's celebration of the silver jubilee of His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein's assumption of constitutional powers, the German Jordanian University (GJU) marked the opening of the library and computer lab at Abdaliya Basic School for Boys. This initiative, sponsored by the university through a collaboration agreement with the Ministry of Education, aims to present the school as a pioneering public institution to the Jordanian community.

Under the auspices of the ceremony, Minister of Culture, Haifa Al-Najjar, engaged with students from the school in the presence of University President Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, enlightening them about the significance of the Jordanian Flag and the pride it symbolizes.

Acknowledging the pioneering partnership between the university and the school, Minister Al-Najjar lauded their joint efforts in providing highly qualified educational programs and producing skilled professionals in various fields. She expressed the ministry's readiness to collaborate with the university on the annual "My Right to Learn" initiative, aimed at enhancing students' linguistic, practical, and cultural competencies while instilling values of cooperation, participation, and national belonging.

Prof. Al-Halhouli emphasized the university's pride in hosting the esteemed Abdaliya School, named after the founding king and the Hashemites, highlighting the positive impact of the collaboration on students and staff from both institutions. He reiterated the importance of supporting the younger generation to further contribute to the nation-building process.

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Halhouli expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Culture for generously donating valuable scientific books for the benefit of the school. He also recognized the efforts of the school's teachers, Assistant President for the Jabal Amman campus Abdul Hakim Arabiyat, and the Faculty of Architecture. The university pledged to extend the "My Right to Learn" initiative to include other schools in cooperation with the Ministries of Education and Culture

"Trainer guide Studying successfully in Germany: Overcoming cultural barriers" workshop. 22/04/2024 from 9:00 til 3:00

We would like to invite you to an information session about the Hosted Programs (Hydrogen Engineering and Social Work) and Campus GATE Team in order for you to understand more about this innovative new program at GJU. 

The hosted Programs (HP) are programs with a collaboration between GJU and THWS University in Germany, where students start their studies at GJU then travel to THWS in Germany for a longer period of time than GJU students and graduate with a German Bachelor Degree from THWS University.

The session will be held by Campus GATE Team: Dr. Monica Heitz, Carolin Gläser, Iris Wildfeuer, Dana AlQahaf AND is going to be at 9am in Activity Hall F on Thursday 25^th of April.
