Biography

Eng. Maram Shqair is a Lecturer at the Department of Industrial Engineering. She holds a M.Sc. degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Jordan (SRISF scholarship, excellent academic performance, CGPA: 4/4). She also holds a B.Sc. degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Jordan (Merit scholarship, excellent academic performance, CGPA: 3.78/4 - Ranked as 1st in class). She has work experience in both academia and industry. She worked as a Research Assistant, a Sustainability Engineer, and a Teaching and Research Assistant at German Jordanian University and National Poultry company.   

Eng. Shqair teaches Probability and Statistics course in addition to Engineering Economics course. Her current research interests are Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Design, Pharmaceutical Supply Chain Modeling, Simulation and Optimization, Hybrid Simulation, Agent-Based Modeling, and Industry 4.0.
