Invitation to Participate in the 10th GJU Career Fair

Dear GJU Partner, Greetings!

After a long wait due to COVID 19 restrictions, the 10th annual GJU Career Fair is back!

The Fair will take place on:

Wednesday, 30th of November 2022 from 9:00am - 2:00pm

at the GJU Main Campus(Amman-Madaba Road), Sports Hall

The event will connect you with our graduates and students. Please use this opportunity to

  • Offer jobs and internships to GJU students and graduates,
  • Promote your services and your business,
  • Network with students, graduates, alumni, GJU staff members, and with representatives of other companies,

Please read carefully the below information and instructions on how to register

Event Space

The roughly sized 6 sqm (3m x 2m) booths are furnished with one high table, two corresponding chairs, cables and electricity. The booths will have an additional table of 1.20m x 0.50m.You are welcome to bring further furniture and/or materials you like for your booth. Please coordinate the event space with the Career Fair team.

Company Assistants

One student or graduate will be assigned to you as your personal Company Assistant and will be in contact with you before and during the GJU Career Fair. The Company Assistant will guide you to the venue, help you setting up your booth, answer your questions & assist you in all organizational matters during the fair. The Company Assistant will communicate with you through the registered phone number. If the person attending the fair on behalf of your company is different from the one who registered, kindly provide us with the name and phone number of the contact person for the fair at your earliest convenience.

Registration

In order to register for the GJU Career Fair and reserve your booth, kindly request your Unique registration code by visiting http://careerfair.gju.edu.jo and click on

 

(“Don’t have invitation code yet? Request now”.) Your unique code will be sent by email.

The registration process is divided into 3 main steps:

Please fill in the registration form and upload your company information until Wednesday, 26th of October 2022 where you can select your booth under the following registration link: http://careerfair.gju.edu.jo

After the registration process, you will be asked to upload the following files for the Career Fair Handbook in PDF, Ai or JPG format:

  • Company logo in high resolution (required).
  • Eye catching Advertisement of your company, related to your work environment & job opportunities (optional but highly recommended).
  • Job & internship offers (optional, but highly recommended).
  • Payment confirmation (required).

Payment

Your reservation of a booth is only valid after we received proof of payment.

Please transfer the appropriate amount (see table above) and upload the scanned receipt via the above registration link (http://careerfair.gju.edu.jo) as a proof that you transferred the participation fees. Booking two booths or more is possible, but without any reduction on the applicable fee. Kindly note that payments cannot be reimbursed in case of registration cancelation.

Career Fair Handbook

As in previous years, we will publish a Career Fair Handbook. This year a soft copy of the handbook will be available via a QR code accessible to all visitors of the fair for information about the exhibitors, and to guide them through the event. It is used by our students and graduates. It is therefore very advisable that you deliver correct, up-to-date and attractive information. Please make sure to provide all the materials we ask for, as the relevant data for the Handbook will be taken from the registration form and the uploaded files during registration.

 

Company Presentation

This year  we will give the opportunity to companies to present themselves to the overall audience in a short 5 minutes talk during the event. If you are interested in presenting your company or give career guidance tips, please let us know by sending an email to: CareerFair@gju.edu.jo. Kindly notes that spots are limited.

 

Job and Internship Offers

We kindly ask you to upload job descriptions for positions your company is currently looking to fill with either graduates or interns. We would advertise these to our students and graduates before and during the Career Fair. Thus, interested candidates can approach you directly.

 

The deadline for final registration and uploading all files is Wednesday, 26th of October

You will receive a confirmation of your registration from our team immediately after we received all required documents including payment confirmation, through bank transfer.
