This project, funded by the Christian Blind Mission (CBM), aims to enhance the quality of life and wellbeing of persons with vision impairment, and improve their inclusion, independence and productivity in society.

The project will be implemented by the Vision Rehabilitation Center (VRC) at GJU and contributes towards the achievement of CBM’s vision of an inclusive world in which all persons with disabilities enjoy their human rights and achieve their full potential; as it supports and promotes the participation of persons with disabilities.

Furthermore, the project focuses on the national disability-inclusion policies and procedures, and contributes to the Inclusive Eye Health Initiative plan towards comprehensiveness of diagnosis, treatment and management of eye diseases and of access to rehabilitation services.
