The Consultation and Training Center (CTC) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) obtained a vocational and technical training and education license from the Vocational and Technical Skills Development Authority, whose board of directors is chaired by the Minister of Labor.

The license enables the CTC to provide training and vocational education services in administrative, financial, computer, agricultural, pharmaceutical, renewable energy, water and sanitation, construction professions, blacksmithing, welding, carpentry, and decoration.

The President of GJU, Prof. Ala'aldeen Al- Halhouli, pointed out that the university pays attention to community service and the development of its programs to keep pace with global transformations in the professional and technical fields. Dr. Al-Halhouli added that the CTC seeks to match the local market needs and the skills needed by the community members.

For his part, the Director of the CTC, Abdul Hakeem Arabiyat, indicated that the center has started implementing the professional programs and courses that were signed with local and international organizations, assuring that the outcomes of these training would empower the youth and qualify them for the local and global labor markets, appreciating the contribution of the expert and training consultant, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Dissi.
