A delegation from the German Jordanian University (GJU) consisting of the former Vice President for International Affairs, Prof. Ralf Roßkopf, the President's Advisor at the Consultation and Training Center (CTC), Dr. Mahmoud Al-Disi, and three German experts visited the Training Sahab Institute and the Metallurgical Industries, where the delegation was received by the Director of the Institute, Engineer Muhammad Al-Shobaki, and specialized institute staff.
 

Al-Shobaki gave a detailed explanation during the delegation's tour of the concerned workshops targeted by the visit, watching the trainees and their work carried out in CNC computerized lathes, sheet metal forming, car electricity, air conditioning, refrigeration, logistics, VR laboratories, and maintenance of mobile devices.

The representatives of the institute responded to the inquiries of the German side regarding the training system and process, its conditions, specializations, levels of vocational training and its effectiveness in the labor market, capacity, operating mechanism, follow-up of graduates, ideas for development and modernization of the institute’s equipment, programs and supporting agencies, and their inquiries regarding activating the job replacement mechanism were also answered.

Furthermore, a discussion was conducted on selecting trainers, developing their technical skills, the extent of cooperation and partnership with the industrial sectors, in addition to the vocational awareness system and changing the societal culture towards vocational training, the target areas for attracting trainees, and the extent of female participation in vocational training. 

GJU delegation expressed their admiration for the institute's mechanism and system for training and follow-up, which reflects a model of the advanced image of modern vocational training in addition to the institute's vision and outlook towards modernization and development, stressing their desire to revisit the institute soon to activate cooperation between the two parties within a joint plan.
