A student delegation from the German Jordanian University visits the South Amman PV station.

This field visit is part of the Green Logistics course at the School of Business, which is taught by Dr. Hassan Younis.

During the visit, the students learned through a presentation by Engineer Samer Sabra of the Samra Electricity Generation Company - the company that owns the station - about Jordan's annual needs of electric energy, the various energy projects of both traditional and renewable types, the quantities of energy produced and the relentless pursuit to reduce dependence on traditional energy and the transition to renewable energy of both types, wind and solar energy.

The students also toured the station, accompanied by the station manager, Eng. Muhammad Shalash and the engineering team, where they were briefed about the station's capacity, the number and type of panels used.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Younis thanked the Samra Electricity Generation Company team, indicating the importance of increasing cooperation between GJU and the company.
