The German Jordanian University (GJU) and Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance cooperation in the academic, scientific research, and training fields.

The MoU was signed by the President of GJU, Prof. Aladdin Al-Halhouli, and the CEO of ASE Mr. Mazen Wathaifi.

The MoU stated the exchange of experiences between GJU faculty members and the staff of the authority, spreading awareness and the culture of investing in stocks in the local community and presenting joint projects that serve both parties and society.

It also included the exchange of field visits, laboratory, technical and logistical services, cooperation with the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship at the university to strengthen the culture of innovation and startups, develop technology transfer and entrepreneurial ideas, and activate a trading simulation room in one of the university laboratories to improve career opportunities for the students. In addition, it was agreed to train GJU students at Amman Stock Exchange within the Dual Studies Program.

GJU Vice President Prof. Malek Alsharairi, and Dean of Business School (BS) Dr. Muhannad Atmeh, and the Director of Communication and Media Department at the ASE Mr. Amjad AL Qudah attended the ceremony.
