A student delegation from the Business School (BS) at the German Jordanian University visits Mooneh Warehousing and Logistics Company. This field visit comes within the Warehouse Management course at BS, which is taught by a faculty member at the school, Dr. Hassan Younis.
During the visit, the students toured the warehouses and learned through a detailed explanation provided by Eng. Jana Boushehab and her team on various types of storage solutions such as refrigerated, frozen and air-conditioned warehouses.
They also learned about the different types of storage racks and various operations in warehouses such as receipt, storage and shipping, the important prevention and safety measures, modern machines and forklifts for transporting, storing and loading goods, and the advanced warehouse management system used by the company to manage inventory and track it inside and outside warehouses until the goods reach the customer.
At the end of the visit, Dr. Younis thanked the company's team, who in turn welcomed this visit and looked forward to joining the bilateral studies program at the university for further cooperation between GJU and the company.
