The Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH) at the German Jordanian University organized the TEDx conference. The conference aims to spread knowledge, inspire innovation and community participation, and promote the university values of open discussion, critical thinking, and pursuing a positive change.

During the conference opening, GJU’s president, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, stressed on the importance of encouraging and motivating young people to spread their ideas through TEDx, which includes a distinguished elite of young people with successful and inspiring experiences and entrepreneurial, leadership and creative ideas.

Al-Halhouli, added that the university is pleased to organize such conferences and will continue to support creative and inspiring events as they contribute to the society’s development and create an inspiring, productive generation.

With the participation of a number of entrepreneurs, who were: Dr. Amal Al-Omari, Dr. Hani Oksha, Eng. Moath Fauri, Bisan Al-Sharif, Hanan Shaheen, Nawar Al-Sharif, Lama Khalifa and Yazan Tadros, the conference’s themes focused on artificial intelligence, positive change, and mindful communication.
