The Erasmus+ National Office in Jordan, in cooperation with the International Project Office (IPO) at the German Jordanian University (GJU), organized a workshop for the aim of discussing the possibility of increasing the employment opportunities for university graduates in Jordan. The workshop was held in the presence of European Union expert Prof. Tatiana Volvka, a number of GJU’s academics, the Deanship of Student Affairs (DSA) staff, the Employability Department and the Alumni follow-up offices from various Jordanian public and private universities.

The Vice Dean of the Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH) at GJU, Dr. Eva Haddad, praised the efforts of the National Erasmus+ in Jordan and shared GJU’s achievements in regard with its role in raising the employment rate, stressing on the importance of sharing ideas and achievements by networking with Jordanian universities so that each university creates a strategy commensurate with it within a clear methodological plan.

EU expert Dr. Tatiana Volvka presented employability in the Bologna process, explaining that the recruitment process is a part of the government’s quality. In addition, Dr. Volvka gave some career tips to be followed by universities to develop the career process.

Education for Employment Foundation also gave a presentation on the Foundation’s methodology to equip university graduates with the needed qualifications needed for the labor market.
