Biography
Eng. Gheath (Gaith) Bader received his Master's degree in Electrical Power Engineering from Yarmouk University, Jordan, in 2020, following a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (Power and Control) from Mutah University. His research interests include power systems, smart grids, microgrids, renewable energy integration, energy management systems, optimization techniques, and battery energy storage systems.
Before joining academia, Eng. Bader worked at Yarmouk Water Company – Ministry of Water and Irrigation from 2015 to 2022, where he served in operation and maintenance and later as the Section Head of the Wadi Al-Arab II Project. He then worked as an Instructor at Al-Balqa Applied University from 2022 to 2023.
Since 2023, Eng. Bader has been serving as a Lecturer in the Department of Electrical and Energy Engineering at the German Jordanian University (GJU), where he teaches undergraduate courses and supervises graduation projects in electrical power and renewable energy engineering.
Eng. Bader is the first author of multiple peer-reviewed publications in internationally indexed journals, with research focusing on dynamic economic dispatch, microgrids, renewable energy integration, power systems, smart grids, energy management systems, optimization techniques, and battery energy storage systems. He is also a Certified Trainer and an Associate Engineer at the Jordan Engineers Association.
