The German Jordanian University and the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) signed an agreement for scientific and research cooperation, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Association of Arab Universities Prof. Amr Salama, AASTMT President Dr. Ismail Farag, President of the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education (NAQAAE) in Egypt Dr. Alaa Ashmawy, President of the Association of European Universities Dr. Joseph Garrell, along with a number of presidents of Egyptian and Arab universities, their deputies and deans of colleges and institutes.

The agreement, which was signed on behalf of GJU by the Vice President, Prof. Malek Alsharairi, and on behalf of the Academy (AASTMT), the Vice President, Prof. Dr. Alaa Abdel Bari, stipulated cooperation in the field of training, research, consultations, exchange of faculty members and student activities programs in GJU’s schools and graduate studies.

It also included cooperation in joint research activities and scientific activities such as conferences, seminars, training courses organized by either party, short-term special academic programs in technical education or e-learning, in addition to entrepreneurship.
