The German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a gathering in the Saudi capital, Riyadh, bringing together more than 60 GJU alumni, Jordanian business leaders, investors, entrepreneurs, and startup founders. The gathering aimed to strengthen connections, build new bridges for cooperation and partnerships, and create broader opportunities for Jordanian talent in the Kingdom and across the region.
The event brought together a distinguished group of GJU alumni and representatives from the business and innovation sectors. During the gathering, GJU President Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli highlighted the university’s key developments and strategic directions, particularly in the areas of innovation, entrepreneurship, applied research, technology, and partnerships with the industrial sector.
Prof. Al-Halhouli emphasized that GJU seeks to strengthen its role as a platform that connects its alumni, students, researchers, entrepreneurs, investors, and industry partners, enabling knowledge and expertise to be transformed into opportunities for collaboration, strategic partnerships, joint projects, and practical solutions that address the needs of the labor market.
The gathering provided an effective platform for exchanging expertise and building relationships among participants. Discussions opened opportunities for collaboration across various areas, including investment, business development, professional mentorship, partnerships, and joint initiatives, further strengthening the presence of GJU alumni and their role within the region’s business and innovation ecosystem.
The gathering is part of the university’s efforts to expand its regional and international network of relationships and strengthen its presence in key markets and sectors. This aligns with its vision, “The Power of Partnerships: GJU Going Global,” and reflects its commitment to leveraging its alumni and partner networks to create new opportunities for cooperation and growth.
The gathering also highlighted the importance of the GJU Family as an extended network that goes beyond the university campus, bringing together talent, expertise, and aspirations, and contributing to transforming connections and relationships into partnerships, investment opportunities, and innovative initiatives that benefit the university, its alumni, and the wider community.
