The Deanship of Innovation, Technology Transfer and Entrepreneurship (DI-TECH) at German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a Concept Evaluation event as part of the FinTech Rally 2026 – Universities Edition program, in collaboration with JOIN Fincubator and JoPACC. The event aimed to evaluate students’ entrepreneurial ideas and projects, promote a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship, and support the development of innovative solutions in the field of financial technology.
The event featured specialized evaluation sessions for participating student teams, attended by representatives of the partner organizations and members of the evaluation committee. During the sessions, the teams presented their ideas and projects to the committee, which provided constructive feedback and practical recommendations to help refine their concepts and prepare them for the upcoming stages of the program.
Dr. Alaa Al-Ghwiri, Assistant Dean of (DI-TECH) at GJU, emphasized that the Concept Evaluation event represents a key milestone in the students’ entrepreneurial journey. He noted that it provides participants with the opportunity to present their ideas to a distinguished panel of experts and specialists, receive valuable practical feedback, and further enhance the readiness of their projects for the advanced stages of the program.
The event reflects GJU’s commitment to fostering an innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem and empowering students to transform their ideas into viable projects by providing a supportive environment that brings them together with experts and partners from both the public and private sectors, thereby strengthening their competitiveness and increasing their prospects for success in the subsequent phases of the program.
