The Technology, Research, and Innovation Park (TRIP) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) participated in the Jordan FinTech Festival 2026, held at the Dead Sea, with the participation of a number of institutions operating in the banking, telecommunications, financial technology, and digital innovation sectors.
TRIP’s participation included meetings with representatives of various institutions and key sector stakeholders to explore opportunities for collaboration with GJU in areas such as training for students and faculty members, professional certifications, innovation activities, shared facilities, and strengthening connections between the industrial sector, students, faculty members, and university centers.
TRIP Director Dr. Ahmad Albadarin also met with a number of GJU students presenting their graduation projects and supported them in connecting with relevant industry representatives. He also supported the three GJU teams participating in the MVP Hackathon, where students developed technology-based financial solutions and presented their projects to industry experts, investors, and financial institutions.
TRIP’s participation in the festival reflects its role in strengthening links between GJU and industry sectors, providing students with opportunities to gain insight into labor market needs, and exploring areas that can be developed into training programs, innovation activities, and strategic partnerships.
