The German Jordanian University participated in the Second International Robotics Forum held at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt (THWS), with the participation of a group of robotics experts representing ten countries and seventeen educational institutions.

The forum, in which GJU’s President, Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli participated in part of his work, aims to research and discuss how to strengthen global networks in the field of teaching and technology transfer, and searching for new means and methods for organizing science in the field of robotics globally.

A part of the forum and within the strategic twinning project TWIN-Robotics between the Mechatronics Engineering Department at GJU and THWS, several events were organized for faculty members and the participating students, including workshops on teaching and research methods in robotics, a student competition and qualitative lectures, visits to advanced robotics laboratories, A visit to factories that adopt robotics technology and mechatronics systems within the framework of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

The university was represented at the forum by, Head of the Mechatronics Department, Dr. Hisham ElMoaqet, Dr. Mutaz M. Ryalat, and students Asmaa Al-Wais, Sally Al-Radaida, Fares Al-Natsheh, and Abdul-Rahman Al-Zumar.
