Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), commended the efforts of the University’s academic and administrative staff and students in recruiting new students for the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year. He also praised their role in introducing prospective students to GJU, its academic programmes and specialisations, and the educational opportunities it offers.

The remarks came during his meeting with the team participating in GJU Open House, where Prof. Al-Halhouli expressed his appreciation for their efforts to engage with students and visitors and answer their enquiries. He noted that these efforts reflect a strong sense of belonging, responsibility and teamwork, while helping strengthen the University’s presence and standing within the local community.

He added that the turnout at GJU Open House reflects confidence in GJU and its academic programmes. It also highlights the importance of direct engagement with prospective students to familiarise them with the University’s specialisations and available academic pathways, helping them make informed decisions about their educational future and understand GJU’s practice-oriented educational model and openness to international experiences.

At the end of the meeting, Prof. Al-Halhouli presented letters of appreciation and certificates of recognition to the participating academic and administrative staff and students in recognition of their efforts and contributions to the success of the student recruitment process. He stressed the importance of continued collaboration in achieving the University’s goals and aspirations.
