The German Jordanian University (GJU) welcomed student delegations from Deir Youssef Military School, Martyr King Abdullah School, and Latrun Military School as part of its school outreach program, which introduces prospective students to the University's academic experience, campus environment, and distinctive academic programs across various disciplines.
The visit included a tour of the University's facilities, during which the students explored several schools, laboratories, and lecture halls. They also gained insight into campus life and GJU's educational approach, which combines academic excellence with practical, hands-on learning to meet the evolving demands of the labor market.
The University's team also delivered an introductory presentation highlighting GJU's history, mission, and vision, as well as its key achievements and academic programs. The presentation showcased the wide range of opportunities available to students, including practical training, international exchange programs, research, innovation, and entrepreneurship. The session concluded with an interactive discussion, during which students' questions regarding academic programs and admission requirements were addressed.
During the visit, the students were also introduced to GJU's signature German Year Program, one of the University's defining features. The program provides students with the opportunity to study and undertake practical training in Germany through partnerships with leading German universities, companies, and institutions. This unique experience enables students to strengthen their academic and professional competencies, enhance their language and intercultural skills, and prepare for successful careers in both local and international labor markets.
The visit forms part of GJU's ongoing efforts to strengthen partnerships with educational institutions and schools while building meaningful connections with secondary school students. Through these initiatives, the University seeks to help prospective students explore their future academic options and make informed decisions regarding their university studies and career paths.
