The German Jordanian University (GJU) and the General Command of the Jordan Armed Forces, represented by the Directorate of Education and Military Culture, have formalized a cooperation agreement aimed at facilitating the admission of students under the Royal Grant program for the children of armed forces and security services personnel.

 

This agreement, signed by Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, President of the University, and Brigadier General Khaled Al-Shamayleh, Director of the Directorate, underscores the commitment to continuing the admission of the Royal Grant students at GJU in accordance with the university's policies and the guidelines established by the Higher Education Council.

 

Additionally, the agreement emphasizes enhanced coordination to oversee the affairs of scholarship recipients both in Jordan and Germany.

 

During the signing ceremony, Prof. Al-Halhouli commended the Jordanian Armed Forces - Arab Army for their contributions to national development, defense, and provision of essential services, expressing appreciation for the Directorate's dedication to educational advancement through its schools and the Royal Grant program. He highlighted the program's role in nurturing a conscious, educated, and patriotic generation, aligned with the values of the homeland, nation, and Hashemite throne.

 

Prof. Al-Halhouli reiterated the university's commitment to supporting the High Royal Grants office and ensuring the provision of necessary resources to facilitate its operations, thereby delivering distinguished services to students benefiting from royal scholarships.

 

Brigadier General Al-Shamayleh affirmed the pride of the Jordan Armed Forces in the German Jordanian University as a prestigious national institution with a contemporary educational mandate. He praised the university for its comprehensive study programs and the high caliber of graduates equipped with the expertise, experience, and skills demanded by the labor market.
