The German Jordanian University (GJU) has announced the availability of scholarships for the 2026/2027 academic year for the Bachelor’s Degree in Translation (German–English–Arabic), offered by Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences and funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). The scholarships aim to support outstanding students and encourage them to pursue their academic journey.

The scholarships are open to students from Jordan and neighboring countries who wish to enroll in the Bachelor’s Degree in Translation at GJU. Applicants to the program may apply for the scholarship, provided they meet the minimum required high school GPA of 70%.

The scholarship provides a total amount of €2,500 per year, paid in two installments, to contribute toward part of the tuition fees at GJU. The scholarship may be extended annually based on the student’s academic performance, provided that the student maintains a cumulative GPA above 80% and funding remains available.

Scholarship recipients will be selected based on their high school GPA, motivation letter, personal interview, and proficiency test in English and Arabic. The interviews and tests are scheduled to take place in early September 2026 at the GJU campus in Madaba.

The university also offers special scholarships for students enrolled in the program during the German Year, which students spend in Germany and includes an academic semester and practical training, further enhancing their international educational experience.

GJU encourages students interested in benefiting from this opportunity to submit their applications before the deadline of August 31, 2026.
