The School of Applied Medical Sciences (SAMS) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) participated in a scientific Event and specialized workshops organized by Al-Fayha For Laboratory and Scientific Supplies in cooperation with Thermo Fisher Scientific over two days. The event aimed to provide participants with insights into the latest technologies and applications in life sciences and laboratory equipment.
Representing SAMS at the meeting were Dr. Nafisah Al-Rifai, Dr. Walid Al-Zyoud, Dr. Sameer Hassan, Eng. Hadeel Al-Ma’ayah, Nour Al-Bataina, and Eng. Ola Abdeen. They participated in scientific sessions and practical workshops addressing the latest developments in the field.
The workshops covered a range of advanced topics and technologies, including Sequencing, Digital PCR and qPCR, protein and cell analysis, cell culture techniques, and Flow Cytometry, in addition to the latest solutions in laboratory infrastructure and equipment. They also provided participants with opportunities to exchange knowledge and expertise and explore the latest solutions and applications in life sciences.
This participation reflects GJU’s commitment to supporting the academic and professional development of its faculties, staying abreast of scientific and technological advancements, fostering collaboration with specialized companies, and advancing applied education and scientific research.
