Prof. Dr. Samer Alabed
Biography
Samer Alabed is a Professor of Electrical and Biomedical Engineering at the German Jordanian University (GJU), a Strategic Academic Leader, and an expert in (Medical) Signal Processing, (Medical) Internet of Things, and Artificial Intelligence. Throughout his tenure at GJU, he has held several key academic and administrative leadership positions, including Head of Biomedical Engineering Department, Exchange Coordinator for the German Year Program, Director of the Accreditation and Quality Assurance Department, and Director of the E-Learning and Academic Performance Improvement Center. Prior to joining GJU, he served as an Associate Professor at the American University of the Middle East, Kuwait, from 2015 to 2022. He earned his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from TU-Darmstadt, Germany. From 2008 to 2015, he was also affiliated with TU Darmstadt, where he contributed to academic and research activities in electrical engineering, with a focus on digital signal processing and related technologies.
