The International Affairs Department (IAD) at the German Jordanian University (GJU) organized a field visit to Wadi Al Mujib for students participating in the Summer 2026 Student Exchange Program, offering them an opportunity to explore Jordan’s natural environment and ecological and touristic diversity.

The students explored the famous Wadi Mujib water trail, experiencing firsthand the area’s natural landscapes and ecological diversity. Beyond the recreational aspect, the activity provided an opportunity for cultural exchange, building friendships, and discovering a different side of Jordan.

The visit was organized in cooperation with Wild Adventures and supervised by Dr. Mohammad Abu Zakieh, with the participation of Incoming Students Coordinator Saleem Abu Harb, along with exchange students from GJU’s partner universities, including Karlsruhe, THWS, and Hochschule Stuttgart, as well as GJU alumnus and intern Hamza Tuffaha.

The activity provided students with an educational and cultural experience beyond the classroom, allowing them to explore Jordan firsthand and gain a deeper understanding of its natural and touristic diversity as part of their exchange experience at GJU.
