The President of the German Jordanian University (GJU), Prof. Ala’aldeen Al-Halhouli, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with TEKANIA Systems L.L.C on the sidelines of the university’s participation in LEAP 2026. The MoU aims to strengthen cooperation in technology-related fields and open new opportunities for GJU students and graduates in training, professional development, and employment.
The MoU provides for the development of cooperation between the two parties in several areas, most notably offering training and professional opportunities to GJU students and graduates, enhancing employment opportunities for qualified graduates in technical disciplines relevant to the company’s operations, and facilitating the exchange of technical expertise and knowledge between the two sides.
The areas of cooperation also include exploring joint opportunities to develop the skills of students and graduates and connect them with the evolving requirements of the labor market. This will enhance their professional readiness and enable them to apply their academic knowledge and technical skills in specialized work environments.
The signing of the MoU reflects GJU’s commitment to expanding its network of partnerships with private-sector companies and institutions and strengthening the alignment between academic education and labor market needs. This contributes to creating promising career pathways for its graduates, particularly in rapidly growing technology sectors.
The MoU also reflects the university’s commitment to establishing high-impact partnerships that go beyond traditional academic cooperation by providing practical opportunities for students and graduates, supporting their transition into the labor market, and contributing to leveraging Jordanian talent in technology-related fields.
