Six students from the German Jordanian University (GJU), Hashem Safadi, Abdullah Amawi, Zaid Blawneh, Daoud Qatawneh, Saba Amawi, and Maisam Al-Otaibi participated in the Abdullah Al-Jbour Political Minds Empowerment Program, organized as part of the Generation of Modernization Project, implemented by the Politics and Society Institute in partnership with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Jordan. The program brought together 40 young male and female students representing ten Jordanian universities.
As an advanced track within the Generation of Modernization Project, the program featured a series of specialized training sessions covering strategic thinking and planning, scientific research methodologies and academic writing, the use of artificial intelligence in research and knowledge development, communication and public speaking, negotiation and conflict resolution, discourse analysis and narrative building, as well as introductory topics in politics, economics, and Jordan’s political history.
GJU students’ participation contributed to enhancing their political and research knowledge and developing their leadership and communication skills. It also provided them with an opportunity to engage with students from different universities and regions, exchange experiences and perspectives, and discuss issues related to public affairs and political modernization.
