1. Intensive summer courses

A good way to consolidate your German language skills in Germany before leaving for the "German Year" is to take part in a four-week intensive language course during the summer semester break.

Students on the B2 track have the opportunity to be nominated for a scholarship for an intensive summer course in Germany if they perform very well in their German classes at GJU.

The best students in the German classes on the Dual Study program are nominated for an intensive German course during the winter vacations.

Students who do not receive a scholarship can take part in an intensive language course in Germany during the summer vacation at their own expense.

Details on scholarships and self-pay courses can be found on the website of the International Affairs Department under: Summer language courses in Germany.

 2. “Hochschulsommerkurse” (HSK)

The four-week university summer courses (HSK courses) are a DAAD scholarship program for students with a language level of B2. The selection process is done through resident DAAD lecturers in Jordan. The call will be communicated in a timely manner through the GLC's social media.
